I was born and raised in beautiful Redding, California and I don’t plan on leaving anytime soon. I absolutely love Northern California and all of the recreation it has to offer. I have been in the design and marketing industry since 1997. I studied locally here at Shasta College and continued at CSU Sacramento and Heald College. Web design and marketing have been my passion and more recently I’ve focused on understanding how the search engines work. I am fortunate to work in an industry that offers technology allowing my company and I to work with graphic designers and programmers from around the world to provide search engine optimization services to companies nationwide. Heather Harris

Born and raised in Redding, California, I have always been blessed to live in such a beautiful city. I absolutely love meeting new people, and am always looking for that next challenge in life. I love to share ideas, and to see them become reality. For as long as I can remember, I’ve possessed a strong passion for Marketing and Advertising. I began my studies at Shasta College to obtain my AA, before moving on to receive my bachelors degree in Business Administration from Cal State San Marcos. I was then fortunate enough to start my professional career as an executive assistant at a software company, Talend Inc. in Irvine, CA. It was there that I learned the importance of building and maintaining client relations, as well as other viable skills that have led me to where I am now. I am beyond grateful to be part of such an amazing team here at Optimize Worldwide, and look forward to the challenges ahead.

Melissa Miller

I was 10 years old when I decided that I would be majoring in public relations in college. Truthfully I am not sure what led me to making such a firm decision so early in life, but I believe it was one of the best decisions I ever made. Through Chico State’s public relations program and my semester studying abroad in Italy, I learned how to capitalize on my natural skills and turn my passions into a career. I love to write, I enjoy building and developing relationships, I am always thinking strategically and I can always find a way to connect with anyone I meet. Those qualities, paired with my formal education, have led me to be successful in everything I put my time and heart into. I have an extensive background in the hospitality industry, I have worked in in-house & corporate PR as well as agency PR; I am always looking for a new challenge and an excuse to travel anywhere! #Educate #Love #Learn…no matter where I am or what I am doing, my goals remain constant- share knowledge, gain knowledge and love others.

Gina Ponce

I’ve always had a passion for writing on just about any topic. After graduating from high school in Redding, CA, I furthered my education at Cal State Long Beach and then took my journalistic endeavors on the road. I opened up my horizons while doing internships in Washington, D.C. and Australia before settling down in New York City to live the life of a Manhattan magazine editor. Finishing out my Carrie Bradshaw days in NYC brought me back home to sunny California where I can now appreciate the simple things in life.

Ben Briceño

I was led to my love for business by my love for the creative arts. I grew up in Nashville, TN (Music City USA). By the time I was in 8th grade, I was forming bands and writing music. In high school, my third band started getting pretty serious, so I decided to build a website (100% Flash- lulz). I built and populated the site with my own content I created using a camcorder and home studio. Pretty soon I was creating music videos and building websites for other groups, which later landed me a job as Creative Director for various non-profits. Years later I decided to move to California to form my own social enterprise startup (CharitySound.com), and was privileged enough to pitch at Google’s Startup Weekend for Entrepreneurs! I am excited to serve local business here at Optimize Worldwide, while working on my dream in my time off!

Tyler Shuster

I was born in Redding, California and I’ve lived here since. I’ve always been fascinated by computers and the Internet, which got me interested in programming, web design, and development. I have a vision for the open flow of information on the Internet and I enjoy practicing my skills to create that vision. Web development is a kind of architecture, and I’m always finding new ways to create something beautiful. When I’m not developing for the web, I enjoy writing verse, hiking, biking, breathing, learning, and enjoying the Northern California landscape.

Jesse Moffett

In the late 90s I installed a big stack of floppy disks and began to learn one of the very first versions of Photoshop. This sparked a passion for graphic design that has only grown stronger throughout my years of professional involvement. In 1998, I began my own company with three other partners, which quickly became a thriving design studio located in downtown Sacramento. Soon after that, I was thrown into the dot com boom and moved to the Silicon Valley. Making good money in a fast-paced lifestyle at a young age led to an overdue reconsideration to the meaning of life. Today, I no longer commute long hours to San Francisco or work a stressful job. Instead, I am so grateful to soak in the beauty of Shasta County and only do work that I enjoy. I specialize in web and print design including branding and information architecture that creates a simplified and lasting user experience. When I’m not creating pixels I like to be in nature capturing them with my camera. I also enjoy painting, yoga, holistic healing and just about anything outdoors.
